NUTRITIONAL SKIN CARE

Human skin is constantly exposed to internal and external influences, which can change its condition and function. As a result, skin changes may occur. Photoaging, inflammation, immunodeficiency, imbalances in epidermal homeostasis or other skin disorders .Skin function and skin attractiveness depend on it nutrition. This is evidenced by the development of skin lesions addressing malnutrition. Diet supplement, if you are deficient in vitamins, minerals, or essential fatty acids improves skin condition in these situations. Likewise vegetable oils are rich in linoleic and linolenic acids an acid that is converted in the body to dihomolinolenic acid and to arachidonic acid. Daily supplementation with vegetable oil increases dihomolinolenic acid neutrophil and epidermal phospholipid acid. This long-chain fatty acid is metabolized into lipoxygenase.Inhibitor 15-hydroxyeicosatrienoic acid and anti-inflammatory mediator PGE1. Therefore, the formation of these metabolites compete with the synthesis of pro-inflammatory substances LTB4 and PGE2, metabolites of arachidonic acid, may explain the beneficial effects of vegetable oils rich in n6 fatty acids in inflammatory skin disease.

On the other hand the ability of vitamin C, vitamin E, and carotenoids to influence the damaging effects of UV light may be mediated largely by their antioxidant function, but it is likely that other biological activities are involved that are not yet completely clear.
